Celebrate International Women’s Day with the unique gift of leadership development for a grassroots human rights activist.
Inspired by Dympna Meaney, (1957- 1991) one of Ireland’s great human rights champions, the Dympna Meaney Women’s Leadership Development Fund provides bursaries to grassroots women working to combat gender based violence in the global south.
Since 2015 the Fund has provided 15 bursaries to inspiring women working in hard to reach places in Asia, Africa and Latin America to access innovative skills building opportunities to strengthen their work against violence against women.
You can help us continue this vital work with a monthly contribution of just €21.00 per month. Through the generous support of COMHLAMH your money goes directly to grassroots women chosen each year by the Steering Committee.* It’s possibly the most effective €21.00 you can spend!
If you’re already a supporter, thank you again for your solidarity.
If you’re new to the Fund, a warm welcome to our world!
