Next up in our series of #Passion4Solidarity videos is Jessica.


Jessica works with City of Dublin Education and Training Board – Separated Childrens’ Service.  She works with migrant and refugee children, who are very often from the countries where health and education workers from Ireland volunteer in.  Her experience of teaching in this context tells us it’s important for teachers to think in advance about different classroom cultures and expectations of what teaching and learning practices should be from the point of view of students, local teachers and institutions as well as themselves.
